Dawn explores the state of awakening. At dawn, we often find ourselves on an event horizon, a state where one is gradually becoming awake but at the same time drawn back into dreams. This realm on the outskirts of perception offers views into our backcountry of passions and emotions.
Dawn features the great John Ruocco on clarinet and tenor saxophone and Thomas Fryland on trumpet and flugelhorn.

Remembering Billy Strayhorn commemorates the 100th anniversary of Duke Ellington’s famous collaborator – one of only few significant LGBT artists in jazz history. Strayhorn is one of the truly great American jazz composers and has created immortal classics such as Take The ’A’ Train, Chelsea Bridge, and Lush Life.
Sit back and let Naja Scheel’s beautiful single ‘Meadows’ carry you on a late summer endeavor to a promised land…
